“We want it to be the way we expect it to look, not the way God designed it to be.” As stated by Iyanla Vanzant during the Oprah’s life class. This statement is so true.
So tomorrow for my discernment presentation, I am going to start by playing “I surrender all.” It is an integral part to my story, but more importantly it’s a reminder. I keep struggling between proving and being. I don’t want to do a presentation, I want to tell my story, to be the truth of my heart. If I come in expecting something to happen or praying for results–things won’t work in my favor.
May I have the faith to surrender tomorrow, trusting that: God is with me, God is in me, God is all around me…well you know.
