When I was growing up in the neighborhood, I could never imagine students at Wingate High School even thinking about anything remotely close to the system of oppression through food desserts. There are some things about new Brooklyn that make it a really great place to live.
Using food as a tool of oppression… that seems like it should be an upcoming blog post. I might have to actually think on that a little more… Let me know your thoughts.
